For those of you who may not know, April Sound Country Club burned to the ground about 3 years ago. Finallyyyy, after alot of discussion, cussin' and whatever, they finally had ground breaking last week. Today the big guys were there taking down one of the beautiful magnolias. Guess the tree was in the way of progress. BF and I went into the Lakeside Room the other day so I could show him the projected Club designs and inside areas. Hopefully it will be very nice and a place to go and enjoy our new Chef and his offerings. Last chef wasn't toooo hot. BF and I went to Walden Yacht Club several weeks ago for their follies and dinner. The food was great, the show fun and the ambiance lovely. I really hope our club will turn out that nice.
