travel. He is going home to where he should have been in March 2009. Cupcake is one of Kayla's beloved bears from when she was a small girl. In March I put Cupcake along with some papers, pics, etc. into a nice cozy box and USPS'em to LA. No word from Kayla that Cupcake ever arrived and truthfully, I forgot about it. In May 2009, a box was left by USPS on my doorstop. Wondering what it was, I opened it, and SURPRISE, it was Cupcake and his packages. Looking at the box more carefully, I noted that it had been (so they say) delivered but no one was there to receive it. So poor Cupcake made another trip - this time back to Montgomery. I'll carry him in my tote Thursday when I go to LA. It doesn't seem to matter to Cupcake that he traveled so far for so long, just that he got no points, miles or rewards. Bummer!
Today's thought was sent to me by my friend Gail, originally written by Regina Brett, 90 year old lady, of The Plain Dealer in Cleveland, OH. "Life isn't fair, but it's still good."

Love that Cupcake got his own photo! That's hilarious!
