Many moons ago, my son had a lady friend whose son Jesse became like a grandson to me and cousin to my natural grandchildren in Seattle. As times and tide will happen, Jesse and his mom moved to Alabama. I had not had the opportunity to see him for alot of years. On Saturday I recived a call from my son that Jesse was in town. We met for lunch and it was so great to see what a fine young man he has become. My son was his mentor and friend and guided Jesse along a path that helped him become the fine young man he is today. It was a great weekend and I did so love seeing Jesse and spending time with them. He's back to Mobile now for school starting soon but I hope he'll return to H'town sometimes again.
