I've been very patiently waiting for Wall Steet - Money Never Sleeps with Michael Douglas to open. The reviews were lackluster, except for the review for Michael Douglas. I never never pay attention to the reviews (especially the Chronicle) because I believe the person reviewing is very bias and has their own agenda. Personally, I thought it was outstanding. Not only the plot but particularly Mr. Douglas. Given that he has just recently revealed that he is battling throat cancer, he gave an outstanding, cruel, touching, no holds barred performance. Probably one of his best. The original Wall Street was very "ahead of it's time". Little did we know what the financial world would be like some 20 years later. This show runs the gamut of all kinds of financial situations, fall and return, hard and soft. I personally give it all the stars possible!
Today's though from Benjamin Disraeli "The most dangerous strategy is to jump a chasm in two leaps".
