Early voting started today and you know I was going to be an "early bird" and vote today. As a matter of fact, I arrived at the annex to vote at 9:20 a.m. and was #35 - with folks waiting in line behind me. Took about 30 minutes to do the deed and when I was leaving the line was out the annex and down the sidewalk. I doubt that amount will be for all of the early voting days, but it was good to see everyone out being responsible citizens. This is an important election for TEXAS, will be interesting to see the results. My theory "If you don't vote you can't complain"....so, VOTE! Do your job!
