Heritage House

Fall is in the air and it was such a lovely day, my friend Shari and I decided to go for lunch after finishing our errands. We chose the Heritage House, an old house converted to a restaurant. It is very popular with the locals and every table was full. We waited about 15 minutes for a clean table. Everything there is delish - it's hard to make a choice and unfortunately some of the choices were already out. The folks that come there all know each other, they are obviously all community neighbors, old school chums or church associates. Wonderful place for people watching and Shari and I topped off our lunch by sharing a homemade blackberry cobbler. We didn't have it tho with Blue Bell on top. It was YUMMY!
Today's thought from former president Herbert Hoover "About the time we think we can make ends meet, somebody moves the ends." That is the truth for sure.
