OMG! Today was the Ladies Association's Craft Show and luncheon. Here it is 10/27 and it was 93 degrees out. The early shopping for members started at 9:30 a.m. Last year I was pooped out by 10:00 a.m. so this year I did not go until 11:00 a.m. There were 42 vendors, lots of bling and glitz, sweaters (?) Christmas decorations, etc. It was great fun and fortunately the shopping was in the Lakeside Room which is very very air conditioned. The luncheon however was outside on the patio!!!!! The little pads of butter melted before we even were served our rolls. The food was actually very good, as it almost always is, but the heat was unbearable! Saw lots of friends, they were all sweating, excuse me, perspiring, and some of us left just after the lunch. I did stay long enough to go collect my door prize. :-) My thought for today "It should never be this hot the end of October unless you live in Arizona or such."
