Eating raw and fresh......

Eating fresh and raw - trying to maintain a healthier way of living.  Many moons ago I was strictly a vegetarian - no meat of any type.  Thru the years I have added fish, chicken and turkey, and always eggs.  Feeling and looking better and satisfied with crunches.  Must confess tho I sometimes succumb to a slice of pizza or some Chinese food.  All in all I'm happy with my choices.  Still sticking to my New Year's Resolution of no cold drinks and no caffeine.  Proud of me :-)

Back on track....

Quick tutorial at AT&T and I'm back in action with downloading my pics.  New art arrived from the cruise in December, top 2 pics.  1st is by James Coleman, head artist for Disney Studios for over 25 years.  Retired to paint and I was lucky enough to bid and win his "Reflections on a Golden Pond".  Love it, love it, love it.  2nd painting is by Harry Guttman and is "Women of the Veil".  Also a favorite of mine.  The statue is unsigned but I loved it anyway.  Now I have rehung the art in the living room, moving it to the entrance way hall and I have room for MORE art.  I will however go slow and be very selective.  Spring cleaning yesterday and more today.  So nice to be home and enjoy my art and the fruits of my labor with a clean home.

Hello readers.....

I'm back.....and hopefully settled down for a period of time.  If you have missed me, thanx.  I'll try to be more diligent in my blogging but my new camera and I are not exactly on the same page so it may be blogging sans pictures for present.
My Health 2 You Group from CRMC has kept me on the go.  We've been on trips recently (January, February and early March) to various and sundry places in Louisiana and Mississippi.....albeit we have had a great time, seen lots of beautiful shrubs, flowers, old plantation homes and eaten more than our (my) share of catfish, blackened (sp?) pork, fish and chicken.
Home chores and catching up have had me scurrying around and I recently removed all the art work from my living room/dining room and with the help of a friend re-hung everything to suit myself and make room for new art.
sooo, that's what's new with me....I WILL do better.
btw, grandson Ryan is graduating this June and already has 2 acceptances from his choice of colleges.  wtg guy!  Really proud and looking forward to graduation.
take care,
:-)
