H2U (Health to you) our wellness group from the hospital hopped on the big bus and made the trek to Lake Charles, LA. for a day of gaming, food and fellowship. I really think that most of us go for the wonderful buffet they serve. The gaming isn't that great, lots of machines but not a lot of wins. Anyway, their dining room is really lovely. I particularly am drawn to the large art pieces decorating the walls. A nice touch and adds a relaxing get-a-way from the sounds of the casino. A little break from the madness of the gamers. Not 2 mention, they had 4 major conferences checking in for the weekend. All in all, a great time was had by all and we have an overnight coming up middle of the month at another casino.
